The RES Data Editor

The Data Editor of the Royal Economic Society defines and monitors the approach of both RES journals (EctJ and EJ) to data and reproducibility. In particular, s/he is the responsible of overlooking the correct implementation of the Journals’ Replication Policy for all articles, and of coordinating the team of replicators that conduct reproducibility checks on all articles that are conditionally accepted for publication in the journals.

The Data Editor of the Econometrics Journal and the Economic Journal since July 2025 is Damian Clarke, Associate Professor of Economics at the Universidad de Chile, and the University of Exeter.
